Jan Blaustone (born in 1964) is a Danish author of several novels and short stories, as well as the author of two plays. A former journalist for the newspaper "Ekstra Bladet", his first novel "Stillehavstakken" (The Silent Harbour, 1998) was awarded the Glass Key (Danish Film Critics Circle Award for Best Feature Film). His second novel "Tre år fra nu" (Three years from now, 2000) received a number of prizes and nominations. His 2009 novel "Morgenrøde" about three young men going through a crisis of faith was nominated for several literary awards.
